The time limit on the contracts is to present the player the option to receive a bonus. You can take as long as you want to complete the contract and still receive full payment. Also your first house was also my first house, admittedly your house looks much better than mine did. :) One trick I've learned is to place ceiling lights, light switches, radiators (as needed) and rugs in each room then circle back around and set up the furniture. I have that in place after floors but get the lights in place so I can work through the night and see what I'm doing. You may get higher satisfaction, and therefore auction prices, if you use the highest quality furniture you can afford while decorating.

Love the build this far I’d love to see it fully built room by room

The way heavy amount of brick is used to make walls instead of wood frame makes me think this game takes place in Europe instead of America. And the way the bricks are aligned with each other as they are stacked instead of alternating the placement makes me worry that the walls are not stable. Even the way there is no concrete used to glue them together looks like a safety and structural hazard. Also, the way the home looks almost flush with the ground with no subspace in case of flooding and for holding pipes doesn't look like proper design for a home.

I can see myself wasting a lot of time in this game. I will have to remember to buy it this winter.

Perhaps you've forgotten, or stopped playing before it was a thing, but there is a much faster way of moving around by ... 'superman flying'. If you start running, then perform a punch and soon after you boost (jetpack) then your character zips across the land until you strike an object or gravity pulls you down. While flying your stamina regens and while running your jetpack regens. Best done while moving downhill because even in video games gravity is a thing.

Having once wanted to be an architect in my youth, I would of put the kitchen and bathroom in the back so that one can make a set of half windows in a symmetrical fashion. Also, for the purpose of keeping the plumbing near each other for ease and convenience. I would also have two entrances to the bathroom so that one wouldn't need to go through a semi public space, or for a guest to go through a private area, to use the restroom.

There is an option to give feedback directly from the game as well if you ever feel like doing so. I agree they need more context to there error messages.

I watched several of your videos in this series and loved them. Enough to become a subscriber. Then this video all you did was whine and complain about basic mechanics in the game. I’d rather if you would have just not even uploaded the video if all you’re going to do is complain the whole time. Several people in your comments are telling you how to avoid running back and forth so much and you ignore them. Either play the game and have fun when you upload a video or play something else.

I really love your kitchen design and gonna do similar type in my log cabin build same with bathroom for master bath, gonna do fancy as possible. Being creative with all the blocks we have makes the build a lot better like you did with kitchen cabinets love it, do more creations to better your house all together in every room that you can think of.

I notice a few youtube gamers have been playing a lot of the same games. I haven't watched many because of the construction genre, survival or really bad simulator style. But thats just me. I like the interior design type games so this and the hotel are the ones i watch. It is summer vacation time so that might be a cause for the drop in views. I know here its usually end of july to first few days of september vacations are going on big time. So I'm sure it will pick up again.😊

I would love to see you complete it, but wouldn’t worry about furnishing it, just paint the walls, put flooring in and maybe light fixtures. I totally get the frustration, games should be fun to play, not leaving you wanting to throw the computer out the window 😂

The running back and forth is annoying. Just implementing something like a hand truck would be a huge improvement. I will say, I've played this multi-player with a friend and it does make things better. We had a system going where one of us would throw boxes towards the house and the other would organize and stack the boxes.

I was having a lot of fun with this game until I was designing a multi story house and my upper floors kept getting deleted every time I modified the ground floor. I ended up with a very boring square house. Only to realize I forgot to RE-ADD my interior doors after the umpteenth time of having to redo the upper floors. So I couldn't complete building the house without completely scrapping everything I had already built. So frustrating. Good news is: this game is in early access and I have hope that they will make improvements to all the frustrations players have encountered.

Get some friends and furnish it off camera with 5 star furniture when possible. Tell them to try to get all the design points for each room but other than that have them furnish how they want. Video a house tour. You'll make a ton more money and be able to get the city lot.

I knew I recognized the house. Lol that's the one that broke my game. But if I could have this game. Gladly would hand you the materials and then I'll decorate. Would be so cool if each on can call dips on a room and decorate it.

I just wanna say didnt look at this guys channel name and i was just trying to watch house flipper abs most people clean the house and paint did not expect this guy to be basically rebuilding the entire house i was like what lol😂

@renovategamer When you decide to put furniture in this house, don,t buy the furniture! Do a " my house needs renovations" mission, you will have to extract lots of broken furniture from the "rich" clients which you than can stick in your house rather than bringing it and selling it for less money at the pawnshop. The game does not register that the furniture is broken when placing it in your new house😂and it will bank you a ton of money ( the actual value of the furniture ) when selling on the auction. Few of those missions will fill the house and you don,t need to finish the missions neither 😂if you don,t want , just cancel / abort mission and take of with the furniture 😂, same with demolition missions , just grab the trash/ furniture , abort missions or do 50% . Easy money! 🤣plus it gives a break doing something else rather than getting burned out building one big house alone in one sitting as i know all to well how frustrating this game can be sometimes 😡. hope this might help bringing some joy back playing , just cheese the game sometimes 😂. love the vids 👍

Main observations; 1, throw the boxes closer/inside/on top of the house. 2. Buy bigger boxes 3. Work smarter not harder. 4. Load the truck with the boxes and drive closer. 💪👍😘 all this and you would’ve probably saved AT LEAST half the time lol

IMO, scrap it. Won't be able to place the window in the room with no door. Won't be able to move on...

One trick I use is with the tall windows is I just toss all of the insulation, drywall, etc through those upstairs windows and save a tonne of walking

If you order the building materials from the hardware store downtown you can buy bigger boxes. Making so you don’t have to run so much. They’re double the size. So instead of 100 per box it’s 200 and you will only have to run half the times.

Also you could’ve throw the boxes with building materials through the window or on to the ceiling on the second floor and not run back and forth that much.
